Braska Bear

Mom reporting: I thought since the first day pics didn’t go so well, I’d try again.  8/15/13  Day 2—“No, Mom. I just want to get on the bus!” 8/22/13 Day 7 —There was some extra time before the bus came to get Braska. So they agreed to take a few shots.  Though this is what I got first…. After a few that didn’t work, we did get one a little more “classic.” This seems to make Kinlee look taller than Braska, which she is, but not by quite this much.  Later that day, Braska came home with different pants on. Love when that happens…  I though it was funny that both times she’s come home with these pants on in the past 10 days, (the pants from her “extra outfit” for school, pants with several bright colors in stripes), it just works out that the colors somehow coordinate the colors in her top.  Must be popular colors in her wardrobe.  This is great since they only change the pants, not the top (which I included in her extra...

Mommy is having fun with Auntie Rachel’s camera. So we’ve been doing a lot of “cheeeese.” Sometimes I do my serious thinking face, though. KiKi had swim lessons tonight, and she pretended to be a puppy. But she swam pretty good tonight!  Then we went to cheer with Daddy while Mommy had a meeting.  We need a staycation, Mommy says.  And a blank calendar. We watched a little baseball and football, too.  The Cardinals forgot to play at their game tonight.  But the Bears played great and WON!  Da Bears!

Sometimes when I take pictures, they don’t look like I thought they would.  I was gonna take a picture of KiKi, but she’s not in there.  I guess I need more practice. This morning we hopped in the car very early to take Daddy to work and we wore our nightgowns in the car.  When we left, there’s a playground right there, and we asked Mommy if we could play.  She said Yes!  Woo hoo!  And we didn’t even have on play clothes!

We were graciously nominated for this session and I was really excited about seeing how Jodie captured them because I have been a big fan for a couple of years.  And she surpassed my expectations by FAR! This was a busy clothes-changing day!  First we got dressed for church. We took pictures. Of course. Then we changed after church to go to have more pictures taken. This time it’s for the calendar with all my “extra” special friends who live in our town.  We took pictures before we left. Of course. Jack and Dashlyn came to take pictures for the calendar too.  We did a few all together.  Some of us weren’t in a very good picture-ing mood.  (Jack was a little bit grouchy, and it was really hot.) After we got done there, we went home and changed AGAIN for cheer.  But we forgot to take any more pictures.  Oops.  That’ll just have to be enough for now.

We got to go to the park this morning, one that we’ve never been to before.  We were going to have our pictures taken by Mommy’s friend Miss Jodie . Grandma C told Miss Jodi about us and she decided to do some pictures as a present for us. Isn’t that GREAT!! Miss Jenny went with us to help Mommy keep up with us and Baby Patrick, too.  She is really good at playing with us, so we like her a LOT!  I sat on her lap while we waited for Miss Jodie. We did some pictures in some neat places. Miss Jodie was good at making us laugh.  We took some pictures together and some just one sister. Then we went to the playground and ran around a little.  Mommy took some pictures there, and Miss Jodie took some of us swinging. That’s our favorite thing, you know!  You’ll have to wait a little while to see those… Later we got to go to Miss Linda and Mr. Gary’s house while Mommy and Daddy did some work and some studying.  Mommy’s working ...

KiKi likes to take pictures sometimes.  I try to do it, but it’s kind of hard to get it looking at the right thing and then get the button pushed.  So we practiced today. KiKi took some pictures first.  She tried to get one of everyone in the family. First she got Daddy when he was coming to give me some milk. Then she got Belle. Just standing, I guess. Then she got me and Mommy in the kitchen.  KiKi likes when we pose all silly and stuff. Then I decided to take some pictures.  I got this one first.  My toes. Then I got one of KiKi, posing all silly again. We went shopping today with Daddy at a bookstore.  They had storytime while we were there, and we got to color pictures, too. Later, Auntie Joy came over for a while.  She stayed and played with us and drew us pictures and we guessed them. KiKi also did some work on Mommy’s computer when she wasn’t looking....
