Today I didn't feel very good. Mommy looked at me this morning and said I didn't look very good. I don't think she meant I wasn't pretty, but my cheeks and chin were kind of red. I tried to do my exercises with Miss Robin this morning, then I played with Miss Tami while Mommy went to the store, but for the rest of the day, I just wanted to be with Mommy. We still played and stuff, but I didn't want to sit in my chair very long by myself. Tonight, while Mommy was putting me in my p-jammies, she said she was gonna ziiiiiiiiip me up, and I thought that was really funny! She wasn't even making faces or anything, just saying it. Since I was giggling at her, she did it a few more times.

Yesterday after church we went to Toro with some of our friends. This is Miriam. She's moving to St. Louis with her parents. She's just a little bit older than me. When we got home from lunch, I played while Mommy watched football and Pop took a nap. My arm kept getting caught in my shirt again like it did the other day, so I just tried my sneaky trick again. I'm getting pretty good at it! Today Pop put me in the laundry basket. He started to take me out after a minute and I told him I wanted to go back in. He thought it was pretty funny that I liked the basket, but I did. I just relaxed in there for a while. I also worked on sitting tonight. Mommy helped me get set then she let go. I did it for almost a whole minute, which Mommy says is a long time! Here's a movie of me practicing to sit. I'm gonna get it soon!

I've been pretty busy the last few days, but I've got some stuff to tell you about. Mommy's been helping me tell her when I want to be picked up, and sometimes I remember to put up my hands so she knows. I do it for Pop, too, and they both like it alot. I was playing in Pop's room, and he was busy doing stuff, so I decided to play peek-a-boo by myself. The other night, I had a new outfit on that was a little bit too big for me. Most of the day I kept chewing on the sleeve and getting all wrapped up in it when I would play on the floor and roll over. It was getting stuck under me and making me unhappy because I couldn't move my arm. So while Mommy and Pop weren't looking, I just fixed the problem myself. They thought I was pretty sneaky. Yesterday was Halloween. I had a day outfit and a night outfit. This is my day outfit. It's part of what Aunt Hyla sent me with some of my new BabyLegs !! Miss Louise came and played with me today. We played in my Bumbo with the stacking cups. Mommy and me play with these alot. She puts them up and counts them and I knock them down. So we were showing Miss Louise how to play. Last night we had a pretty fun time. We went to church where they had a thing called a FunFest, and they were right. It was fun. Mommy got this funny outfit for me, but lots of kids had funny outfits. I have lots of neat pictures to show you of how cute we were! Here's my funny outfit. We got this so I could be one of Pop's favorite things. You might just think I'm a dinosaur, but Pop said it was a Pygmy Allosaurus . (I had to have Pop help me spell it.) Tonight I got to go out with Pop to a party for his work. He forgot to bring the camera, so we don't have any pictures, but I'll tell you about it. I think Pop just wanted to take me along because he's not good at what big people call "small talk,"and he thought I'd be good to keep him company. We went to a nice dinner place where there were lots of people from Pop's work. I got to meet a whole big bunch of new nice friends. I even got to cuddle with a few nice ladies like Miss Cathy, Miss Donna (I remember her from when I went to work with Pop once!), Miss DeeDee, Miss Linda, and Miss Cindy. If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry! I didn't get to sit with Miss Julia , but she said next time I would get to. They were all really nice, though. Everyone was eating yummy pizza, but I didn't get any. First Miss Robin came , then Miss Tami came. She comes to play with me on Tuesdays so Mommy can get work done or run out to do things. Isn't that super nice of her?! Today we played with a new toy that I got from Aunt Chris and my cousins. It makes music and lights up, and that's my favorite things. I practiced sitting up some more with her, and I played the music. It was very fun. I think Miss Tami was letting go of me little bits, but she didn't let me fall over. At lunchtime, Pop came home and took a little nap with me. He's very good at napping, and it was pretty cozy. Then I went out with Pop (I'll tell you all about that soon ). And tonight I sat with Mommy in my new favorite spot...right next to her in the big squishy chair. It feels so comfy that I fell asleep while she was working. It was a pretty good day!
