Yesterday Mommy and me went to Children's Hospital to see my buddy Sophie. She came down to have some appointments with some of our doctors. (It's pretty fun that we have some of the same ones!) Guess what floor we parked on this time?! We've never been this high before! We had some lunch after she got done with having her ears checked and before her seeing our eye doctor. Miss Jen went to get some lunch and I helped Sophie get her snacks. She tried to give me one, but I just let her have them all. After lunch, my second belly button started to leak and milk was all over me. Since we were right there where my belly doctor is, we went to see them. The nice nurse looked at me and helped us clean up. We found out that my button isn't quite working right and leaking a little, so I'm gonna get a new one. They didn't have one there, so we had to order it. We hope it's coming tomorrow. But isn't it nice that we were right there in the big hospital w...

Last Wednesday, me and Mommy went with Miss Melanie and Ben to see Ben's grandma and grandpa, Miss Sue and Mr. Gary. They are Miss Melanie's mommy and daddy. They were so happy to see me, which was really nice. Miss Melanie and Mommy went to college together a very long time ago, and they used to go visit Miss Sue and Mr. Gary back then too. It's always fun at their house, Mommy says. But now they have a neato pool IN their house! So Ben and I got to swim even though it was cold outside! Can you believe that? It was SO much fun. I floated all around the pool by myself, and I kicked and splashed. I didn't want to get out at all! Ben helped me move around by making splashy waves. The big people watched us but they let us kids have the whole big pool! It was so nice to get to see Mr. Gary and Miss Sue. I think maybe we'll go visit again soon. It's fun to swim there! My girl has come a long way in a relatively short time. At least I think so. But she still is growing really slowly when it comes to actually "getting bigger." This past Sunday we found that an outfit we were sure would be too small still fits. And yeah, it's a 3/6 month onsie. 1 month old (12/24/06--approx 7.5 lb) 11 months old (10/14/07--approx 14.5 lbs) And now, 10/5/08, at 22 months old and 19.5 lbs. One outfit...so much wearablility!! And just think, Pepino will get to wear it too! (But most likely for a much shorter time.) (This picture series makes me wish I could get this exact onesie in a shirt for every size she'll ever need...wouldn't that be fun to look back on!?!)

Tomorrow a sweet boy, Baby Isaac, will be born, and his very faithful parents will be happy and yet sad as they may not have long to cuddle him and enjoy his warmth. Isaac's story is on his family's blog . And his mommy has written amazing letters to her boy that she has shared at Dear Isaac . There's more about this on our other blog, Just RK , about why this particular story has impacted me. Please be praying with me for them throughout the next 24 hours especially.

Today was a big day. We got up really early and went to a garage sale. But they didn't sell the garage. I don't understand. I'll tell you about that later. I took pictures, but they're still in the camera and it's not here. Tonight we met some new friends, Miss Mayra and Mr. Andy. We went to dinner and then for ice cream! I tasted some good stuff at dinner, some salty steak juice and some mint ice cream. But not too much. Since we didn't have the camera, Mommy took a couple of pictures with her phone. Here's me and Daddy at the ice cream place. And here's me with our new friends...they were SO nice!! Hopefully we'll see them again soon! I've had a long day so I'm going to bed. More tomorrow!!

My hair is getting a little longer, so we decided to try a different kind of piggie tails this week. Before I only could get little bits in on top, but almost all my hair goes in there now! This was what I did when Mommy asked if I could be more cute... I showed her "more," because I've got lots of cute left!! And when I ran out of cute smiles, it was time for a nap. Mommy says I even have cuteness left to show off when I'm sleeping!

Miss PT left a fun toy with me last week. I didn't understand it at first, but it didn't take me long to get it. I can play all by myself now. Here's a little movie of Mommy trying to help me learn it. I was a bit more interested in something else this time. Then we tried again, and I started to get it. Check me out! I'll have to give it back to Miss PT soon, but maybe we'll find one so Mommy can buy it for me.
