90/366 Surprise present for swim

The doorbell rang today and KiKi went to open it.  Mommy got there right at the same time and told her she can’t just unlock and open the door without Mommy’s permission.  She told us both that we have to wait for an adult to open the door to make sure we’re safe.  Man… there is just ALWAYS something new to learn! The mailman was at the door to give us a package that wouldn’t fit in the mailbox.  We didn’t know anything was coming, so we opened it right away.  This is what was in there…. It’s called a Puddle Jumper, and it’s like the one that Jack let me borrow.  I just love to swim with this, because I can do it all myself, moving around and playing without holding on to anything.  Since we need to give Jack’s back to him, our extra special secret shopper got it for me!  What a nice surprise! All day I kept asking Mommy to take me to the Y to swim.  But we couldn’t go today.  I hope we go soon!  AND I’m ready for summer at ...

Getting better

I’m feeling pretty good.  My hurts are not too much anymore.  Sometimes my eyes feel itchy and Mommy makes me keep my hands out even though I want to rub my eyes to make them feel better.  The funny red stuff in my eyes is getting a little better, too. Thanks to all you nice people who have been asking how I’m doing.  I have to stay home mostly still, but I’m playing and doing more around the house.  Grammy has been here helping me for a couple days and Grandma C is coming later today.  It’s not fun to have eyes that are itchy and red, but it’s nice to get to see my grandmas! (Mommy note: She’s doing really well.  She’s not 100%, but she’s much closer to it than I would have ever thought she’d be at this point.  I’m really thankful that it has gone so well so far, and I’m very aware of the role that all your prayers have played in her progress.  Big thanks to our family members who have given their time to help physically, money for...

Thanks Miss Tricia and Georgia!

Today the man that brings our mail to us brought us a box with a bunch of stuff in it. Mommy said it was from Georgia and her mom, Miss Tricia. They sent us a lot of stuff to help me get my food with the tube. Georgia doesn't need it anymore because she likes her food more now, I guess. Mommy told me she might just send me to see Miss Tricia so I can learn that too. As for this tube, I don't like it much, but Mommy says I have to have it for right now. So thanks for the stuff!!! That is very super nice of you! Hi Georgia!!
