31 for 21: Reno-vacation

We’re getting new floors in our house. So our piano is in the middle of the kitchen. And we eat breakfast on Mommy’s bed.  It’s kind of weird. And we have to wear shoes all the time to be safe. So right now I can’t show much pictures, but I’ll have some good ones soon!

Doing our chores

Braska reporting: Daddy sometimes has us help with the dishes. He calls it matching, but I know that it’s really what’s supposed to be called chores. I’ve heard of those, and Mommy sometimes give us “jobs” but they’re probably chores, too. We’re good at matching the spoons and forks in the right spots.  It’s a very serious job, so we have to concentrate. But every chore is more fun when you stop and smile sometimes!

193/366 No more green

We’re gonna do something new… but we can’t decide.  See the green things by the windows and the door?  We want them to go away. I mean, be a different color.  So what do YOU think? What color?? Here’s the top 4… maybe.  We keep changing our minds. So if you have any other suggestions, please share!

152/366 Clothes and MORE clothes

This was a big job.  Putting away our clothes from the cold weather and getting out the ones for warm weather. It got to be a BIG mess, too.  But the good news is that we have LOTS of cute clothes to wear now for summer.  Most of them we wore last year, too, but that’s when happens when you just stay little like us!

Our new room

It’s been a while now since me and KiKi started sleeping in the same room.  But we like it, and we have been pretty good girls, so Mommy said we could have a new room.  It’s actually the same room, but we made it look a lot prettier. This was what it looked like before.  The kids that had this room before me liked animals and blue, I guess.  We just didn’t change it because we like panda bears a lot and there were pandas in the pictures on the wall.  But now it’s time to say bye-bye to the pandas. | Grammy and Auntie Ju came up to help us with the room.  We didn’t quite finish the last (and best!) part so they came up again the next weekend, too.  It was not very much fun to take the pictures off the wall.  That’s what they all said. We played in the chair in the middle of the room while they worked on things.  I went with Daddy to Grandma C’s for a while, too.  KiKi thought it was fun to stay and watch everyone working...

Helping Mommy in the kitchen

Lately KiKi has been wanting to help Mommy in the kitchen a lot. Especially with the dishes. Sometimes I help, but I only like to do it for about 3 seconds and then I’d rather be down on the floor reading a book. Here’s a little movie of us when we were almost done… After dishes, we wanted to help with sweeping, too.  But KiKi got the broom first. Since it got a little messy on KiKi’s clothes last time, a few days later when KiKi wanted to help again, Mommy let her wear her naked body. While Mommy wasn’t watching, KiKi started to put water on her head.  When Mommy saw it, dishes time was over and KiKi had to go take a shower. I guess the shower water is ok but dishes water isn’t.

Surgee day

Today Mommy’s taking me to the hospital and we’re gonna do surgee.  I’m not sure what that means, but she said she’s going to stay with me while I’m there a few days, so I’m not scared. This morning, since KiKi and Belle are at Grammy’s, me and Mommy are just hanging around at home and getting ready to go.  Mommy was yelling for me after I first got up, but I was already helping her take the trash out. After we got dressed, we had some silly time in the living room while we were watching Sid the Science Kid.  I love Sid!   Mommy was talking mean to her camera because it wasn’t being nice to her.  It wasn’t taking pictures like it was s’posed to do. I think it’s funny when Mommy talks mean to the camera. As long as I have one of my cords to bite, I don’t really mind what the camera does.  Have a fun day.  I’m gonna go get my bags ready.  Maybe I’ll show you pictures of my sleepover room later when ...

And I helped!

On Sunday we went to Grandma C’s for football again.  We do this most every Sunday because we can watch Da Bears at her house but not at our house.  Our TV doesn’t show us Bears.  I don’t know how that works. Maybe Grandma C made it that way so we will come see her.  She’s tricky sometimes like that. This week we got to see Aunt Doris and Uncle Tim. Aunt Doris is Grandma C’s sister, but they live far away in a state called Washington, so I had never got to meet them.  They are both VERY nice!! I wish they lived where we could see them more.  They have a daughter named Larae and that’s where I got my middle name, isn’t that neat?  I hope I get to meet her someday soon.  And Cousin Priscilla and Cousin Zachary too! Aunt Doris cleaned up the kitchen after dinner and she let me help her.  I think I did pretty good for my first time. I hope we can see you again soon, Uncle Tim and Aunt Doris!

Kitchen talk

Today Mommy worked really hard to get the floor in the kitchen all clean. I like to play in there alot, and I can move all around real easy. I always make lots of noise in there because it seems like it's more loud than in the other rooms. Miss Louise comes to help me learn to talk and eat, and she tells Mommy how she doesn't hear me talk much, so here's a video Mommy took today for her. I thought some of you, mostly grandmas and other mommies, might like to see it too. It's kind of loud, though, because I'm having fun! Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.com

Retropost: Weekend full o'stuff

The Saturday that came before this last one was not as cold as the other days. So Pop decided to do some work on getting the pool cleaned up from all the fall leaves and melted snow. Since it was nice outside, I got to go out too and watch a little. He didn't think I'd be much help with the clean up, but I was good at telling him what needed to get done. Miss Jo Ann came by that day too, and she brought me alot of presents! She found what she called a "sale" and so she got me some really cute things. This one has a fuzzy hat part. This one is really soft and cozy, and my friend Olivia has one like it so we can match. And this one is a pretty blue color. I didn't have anything this color yet! That night, I played with Pop some while we waited for Mommy to get ready for dinner. We went out to Toro and met Mr. Brent and Miss De there. It was a fun dinner, and a nice lady even gave me one of her birthday balloons. We got to see Miss Martha and Miss Chayo, but they we...

Working, playing, and eating

This morning, I went to see Miss Luann, and she tried to get me to eat again. Mommy brought some food with us that I thought was pretty yummy. She called it beef with applesauce. And I think it's really yummy. I ate alot of it while we were at Miss Luann's office. She was happy about it. And I'm trying to learn to drink milk from a cup with a thing on it that goes in my mouth. Mommy calls it a sippy or something like that. I don't like it alot, but it's not as bad as that bottle they kept trying to give me. Lots has been going on at my house. Everyone's working on all kinds of projects and I'm just playing and eating. Today, Grammy Jan has been working on the bathrooms, making them prettier. Mommy helped some, and Pop helped some, but Grammy's doing most of the work. She worked late tonight on the floor part of the bathroom. Mommy will show you some pictures of it all done later.
