Easter family fun

We had a really fun Easter Day this year. We started out by playing in The Big Green Bed, which is what we call Mommy and Daddy’s bed.  Mommy said there was an Easter that we played in a bed back when KiKi was a tiny baby… remember this and this ? Look how small we used to be!  KiKi was way smaller than me then, but now she’s bigger!   KiKi and I love to play and we also like to give hugs.  But she usually pulls me over so we both fall down. Sometimes we rest for a minute.  Shhhh.  Then sometimes we get all silly again!! Then we were doing Easter Day Hoorays!! Then we got ready for church . KiKi always walks faster than me.  But Daddy helps me keep going without KiKi running away. Our dresses weren’t just the same, but they were kind of almost the same. KiKi wore the one that was supposed to be for me, but it’s ok.  I like purple too.  Mommy made new bows for us to go with our Easter dresses… Gram

Sleeping where??

The other day I got up from my nap and went to look for Mommy. She was napping too because she was really tired.  She didn’t hear me by her bed, and I was still tired, so I just laid down and went back to sleep. She woke up later and almost stepped on me.  Here’s what she saw… She just stepped over me so I could keep sleeping, and when she checked on me in a few minutes, I was still sleeping. Usually when KiKi wakes up from nap or in the morning, she stays in her bed for a long time with her blanket.  She just likes to be in her bed, I guess.  BUT—the same day I was sleeping on the floor by Mommy’s bed, when Mommy went to peek at KiKi, she found her on the floor, too! Belle was the only one who was sleeping on a pillow like we’re supposed to. Mommy woke up from her nap and saw this before she even knew I was on the floor by her. She said something was wacky that day…everyone was sleeping in wacky places!

More eye doctors

I'm at the eye doctor again today. Its a different one though. I saw one guy already and he ckecked my eyes and put some drops in there. I didn't like that at all. Now I'm waiting for the next guy. But at least I can play a little.

Easter Cookie Therapy

(For those of you who skim, there’s a video at the bottom with some speech fun, if you’re into that kind of thing. ) Yesterday we did some fun things that also made me work hard with my hands. First we got our stuff together that we would need.  And we got excited! Then we counted a little and put the squares on the pan.  They were a little sticky. Then we put the squares in the oven.  After the squares had turned into to cookies in the oven, we came back and got ready to put frosting on them.  Mommy didn’t want us messy, so we did frosting with naked body. KiKi started first.  She put her fingers in the cup Mommy gave us that had frosting in it, then she put it on her cookie. Like paint.  She did a pretty good job.  And she even licked her finger and said it was “YUMMY!” KiKi showed me how to do it.  “Stick your finger in the frosting, Braska.” ”Well, this is not fun at ALL!” I tried to pain

Cousins at Grandma C’s Park

Sometimes we have sunny days and sometimes we have rainy days.  And lately we’ve had a whole BUNCH of rainy days.  But a couple weeks ago we had a really warm, sunny day.  We didn’t have stuff to do in the afternoon so we went to see Grandma C at work, and we stole her away to go play with all us cousins. Xander was sleeping, but the girls went to Grandma C’s park. It’s right by her house, and we just walk over there.  We don’t even have to get in the car.  KiKi got tired on the way there and decided to ride on Grandma C.  Shay was stopping to look at flowers all over. Shay is the biggest of us girl cousins, and she always is the first in line.  She goes to this park a lot, so she knows the way. Shay didn’t want to wear her hat when we got to the park, so Grandma C held it and her flowers for her.  She’s a good Grandma like that. KiKi climbed and did the slide over and over and over with Shay.  But my favorite thing is always swinging!! After a little
