Catch-up: Trip to C-U, part 2

On Easter Sunday, we went to our old church and saw lots and lots of friends. Everyone said I was SO big and they were surprised to see KiKi since she wasn't in Mommy's belly yet when we left. After church, we went a little bit away to another town to a new El Toro!! Miss Martha was working there so we went to see her. She was so happy to see us, especially me!! I got to go all around with her while Mommy and Daddy were eating. Mr. Randy, Miss Karen, Maddy, and Gracie went with us because they love Toro too and they are moving away. We will miss them, but maybe we will go visit them in their new place.

Catch-up: Trip to C-U, Part 1

Last weekend, we went back to where we used to live. It was nice to see alot of people, but I didn't remember some of them. Mommy says they all knew me when I was a tiny baby, but I'm a big girl now! Friday night we went to a little party for our friends who are moving away. This is Miss Zoey, she used to go on trips with me and Mommy to talk to me in the car and help Mommy with things. Mommy really wishes she lived close now that there are two of us, me and KiKi. We hope maybe she will come to St. Louis for college!! The party was for Miss Karen and her family, so I sat with her for a while too. Saturday morning KiKi and me played on the bed for a while at the hotel before we got our baths. We were tricking Daddy for a while because he thought we were asleep. But then we couldn't keep from giggling about it! At lunch on Saturday, we met Sophie and her brother and parents at our old favorite restaurant. El Toro!!!! We just love Toro!!! I had some beans and some salsa and so...

Retropost: Trip back home

Last weekend we went back home to Champaign to see some friends. And we saw a bunch of them! We had alot of quick visits to say hello, but we didn't get to see everyone. We stayed with Mr. Tom and Miss Beth on Saturday night. Dottie and Jake live there too, and we played with them some. They had lots of fun toys for me, and they even gave me some fun ones to take home!! Thanks Miss Beth! On Saturday I went to see lots of people with Mommy while Daddy stayed at Mr. Tom's house. We saw Miss Jen, Mr. Adam, and Kabe . Then we met Miss Janet at the mall for a little bit while we got Daddy's ring fixed to fit him better. Then we had lunch with Mr. Brent and Miss Laura before we went to Maddy and Grace's house. Mr. Randy and Miss Karen were there too. I took a little nap and Mommy just rested while her belly was icky. It was nice to see Maddy and Grace again. Then we went back to Mr. Tom's house for dinner and playtime with Dottie and Jake before bed. On Sunday, we...

More family weekend

Wow, I've been so busy, and there have been so many people all around me! Usually it's just me and Mommy and Daddy and Belle. But these last days I've had lots of people to play with me. Mommy says they're all going home tomorrow, so I will have to get used to playing by myself again. On Friday, since we were still in St. Louis, Mommy and me went with Grandma C so the big girls could get their hair fixed. They both had these silly shiny things in their hair, and I sat with Grandma C for a while just seeing how funny she looked with those things. Then we finally came home, even though we didn't get my new glasses pieces to fix them because it would be a few more days. And we were ready to come home. Saturday morning I went to playday at the big college, but I'll tell you about that later, maybe tomorrow, because I have other stuff I wanna tell you about my family that came to visit. In the afternoon on Saturday, Grammy and Papa, Auntie Joy, Auntie Julia, and Uncl...

Playday 2

Today was Playgroup at the big college place. I had a pretty exciting day. We decided to make a movie of it since that way you can see what I did better. (Here's Mommy's story with all the big people details of today.) (Mommy note: There are alot of very exciting things in the video, but some of them are subtle.) Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.com Wasn't that pretty cool!?! Mommy and Daddy were so excited at how good a playday it was! Here's a few more pictures from today. I liked the green fishies alot. I even let Miss Lisa play the fishie game with us. She's one of the students who make our playtime fun. Tonight we went to Toro with Miss Ann and Mr. Marc. The boys and Kaylee came too. Kaylee ate her food and I at some little bits of beans, salsa, gwakamolee, and sour cream. I licked it off of a chip, not a spoon. Both Kaylee and me ended up with messy faces. But it was pretty yummy. Mommy thought I did a very good job with my little bit of eating.

Home grown fun

Sunday morning we had some time to play before we got ready for church. So I sat on Daddy for a while and told him about what the bears taught me in my room while Mommy and Daddy were sleeping. The bears tell good stories and teach me stuff while I'm playing in my bed before Mommy comes to get me. This is the best way to get Daddy to listen. He can't get up and go away til I'm done with him! When it was time to get dressed, I put on my Valentine's Day dress from Auntie Rachel. It's got a little fuzzy heart on it that's soft. Mommy decided to try a new hair do since my hair gets in my eyes sometimes. It was kind of like a little bug or something weird on my head. But some people liked it, so I guess it was ok. Sunday night we went to Toro with our new friends. This is Sophie, and she's pretty fun. She has an extra chromosome like me. She's 7 1/2 months old, but she likes to eat better than me, so she's bigger than me. Mommy says I should lear...

Retropost: Therapy and stories

It's time for me to get you caught up again. I'm trying to help Mommy get her work done around the house so she can have time to help me tell stories everyday again. Here's some pictures from the last couple weeks. Monday, 1/14 Miss Judy came to see me. She brought some pretty neat toys to play with. There was a big bowl that was kind of like the ones Mommy makes cookies in, but Miss Judy put me in there! She made it move so that I had to work pretty hard to stay sitting up. Then she had a neat blanket thing that we moved it up and down and played with. Mommy said we might get one to play with because Miss Judy said it would be good for me. It's called a par-u-shoot. Then Mommy and I went back to the SJ town to see the work office again. And we went to lunch with Miss Karen (a new one!) at the new Toro that opened in SJ town. That is three days in a row at Toro! Mommy thought I might eat some salsa again, but I didn't feel like it today. Do I look like I want salsa...
