Braska Bear

Sometimes I let KiKi tell some stories on my page. She did some fun things today when I was at school.  Mommy will tell you about it. ___________________________________________ After we dropped Braska off today, since I’m working this evening and not this morning as has been the recent schedule, Kinlee and I headed to Once Upon a Child to see if we could find a pair of jeans that would magically fit Braska around AND not be too short. Tall order for Miss Skinny Buns. Anyway, while we were there, Kinlee saw a neat little art table and chair and said she “needed” to take it home.  I told her we already had a VERY similar table in the basement that we had been saving for when the girls were ready to use it.  Grammy brought it last year for them.  I told her that if she wanted to we would go get it from downstairs when we got home, and she could try it out. So we headed home, and she went down to the storage area in the basement and helped me bring this back...

It’s been a while now since me and KiKi started sleeping in the same room.  But we like it, and we have been pretty good girls, so Mommy said we could have a new room.  It’s actually the same room, but we made it look a lot prettier. This was what it looked like before.  The kids that had this room before me liked animals and blue, I guess.  We just didn’t change it because we like panda bears a lot and there were pandas in the pictures on the wall.  But now it’s time to say bye-bye to the pandas. | Grammy and Auntie Ju came up to help us with the room.  We didn’t quite finish the last (and best!) part so they came up again the next weekend, too.  It was not very much fun to take the pictures off the wall.  That’s what they all said. We played in the chair in the middle of the room while they worked on things.  I went with Daddy to Grandma C’s for a while, too.  KiKi thought it was fun to stay and watch everyone working...

I had a pretty good appointment today at Dr. C’s office. We had to wait a little bit, but it wasn’t too bad. I found some fun things to do in the meantime. I even met some new really cute baby friends. They’re “extra” special like me. It’s always fun to meet pretty babies when we go to the kid’s hospital. Then we went back and talked to Dr. C. Mommy will explain more about all that big-people talk on her page . All I know is that I get to go to another doctor on Monday. Mommy says he might be able to help my eyes work better. I sat all by myself in the big chair today. Dr. C and the other doctor who came to learn from her thought I did great. KiKi got to play with Uncle Patrick at his house while I was at the doctor. They had so much fun she got mad when we got there to pick her up! She is SO crazy sometimes. But I’m glad she had fun! After the doctor appointment, we picked up KiKi and we went to see Grandma C and PaPaw for lunch, and Daddy was there too since...

I am at the doctor today at the big hospital where all my doctors are. Its just for kids. No big people allowed. I'm talking to Dr. C about my eyes again. But it is hard to tell them I am here when I'm too short!

I like to give hugs. It has just been lately that I have been asking for them. I ask Mommy, "Mommy? I give KiKi hug?"  Then Mommy says, "Yes, you can."  Then I give KiKi a hug. She likes hugs, too, if they are from me. 

We are at Auntie Rachel's house today. She isn't here and Uncle Patrick isn't either but we are watching her tv anyway. She gets some great shows that we don't get at home. Like Backyardigans and Blue's Clues. So we don't mind that they aren't home. But we love them. Really. Almost as much as Blue!!

Now THIS is the way to start the day! Cuddling in the covers of Mommy’s big bed. If Mommy sleeps longer than we want and doesn’t come get us on time, we just get up and go in her room and tell her to “Wake Up!”  Then she puts us up on the bed and we all play silly cuddle games and KiKi likes to play flopsy, when she climbs up on the pillows and falls on her back.  I think it is SO funny! Big bed time is the BEST!  We’re always a little grouchy when Mommy makes us get up and get dressed for school.  But when Daddy gets home after work, we get to go play again in the big bed with him! We hide in the covers and climb on Daddy after he gets out of his nice working clothes and gets in his comfy clothes. It’s time to get ready for school now. Everybody have fun today!
