My new senator friend

Tonight we went to Miss Cindy's to meet up with our family and some new friends. Well, they are old friends of Grandma and Grandpa and Daddy and the uncles. Mommy knew them from when she was dating Daddy, but this was the first time I got to meet them.

Mr. Jon and Miss Sharla are from Montana, that's how my family knows them, but now they live in Washington, DC, some of the time. He's called a Senator, and he works with some pretty important people. I thought it was pretty neat to get to meet them, though I was kind of shy tonight. I was afraid he was going to ask me who Mommy and Daddy were gonna vote for!! (Shhhhhh...I think we're on different teams. Don't tell! Its ok, let's just play cards instead!)
We had a good time. They were all still playing cards when we left to come home. Miss Cindy's so nice to let us come to her house so much!! Here she is with Shay...they had some fun looking at the fish pond and blowing bubbles.
Thanks for coming by to visit, Mr. Jon and Miss Sharla!! It was very nice to meet you!

Happy 6 months to me!

I'm 6 months old today. Wow...it seems like a lifetime!! Mommy helped me put together a neat thing to share with you, but you should know that it's really for my dad. He's the best Pop a girl could have. Just remember, girls, he's mine and Mommy's, and we're keeping him! Hey Pop, thanks for hanging in there with us for six whole months! Go Team Woods! Make a video - it's fun, easy and free! www.onetruemedia.com

Getting ready for Idol!

Here at our house we always watch American Idol from the beginning to the end. I like all the music, and Mommy and Daddy like to make guesses on who will win. I love to sing and listen to songs and Mommy has been singing songs to me since I was a tiny baby, so we do songs every day. We're getting ready for Idol to start soon, so we've been singing extra! Last night, I thought I would do my first movie of singing time. I was in a pretty silly mood and didn't want to be still, but Mommy thought I should let you see anyway. This is the song I know the best, Jesus Loves Me, but it's not my best showing of it, that's for sure. And this is my favorite song from my FAVORITE show... Blue's Clues!!! Usually I can say Blue's Clues really nice and show the hands like Steve does, but I didn't feel like it when Mommy got the camera out. But the Mail song is always fun! (Mommy even got a word wrong but I knew my part!)
