Here's a little sample of some of Braska's favorite speech progress. Some are clearer than others. She gets excited and things get sloppy!

    OH MYLANTA! Holy Cow and all that. What an impressive performance. I heard NO sloppiness. Remember, Soph will teach her straw drinking in exchange for help with speech.

    This is awesome! She's so smart! Nevan (my nephew) will be 2 in July and I can hardly get him to say ball or dog or mom.

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rest my case on the importance of Momma's (and parental) influence! Great choice of repertoire, too! One can't go wrong with alphabet and "This Little Light of Mine!"

    Oh, Braska darling ... your light sure shines brightly! RK, I am so incredibly impressed with her speech. Both of my little stinkers with DS have such a rough time with language and speech. Braska is such a bright little girl!

    WOW! I never even knew I had favorite letters of the alphabet until I heard Braska say them! I can't get enough of Q R and T!

    Wow you've been holding out on us! LOL she's talking so much and what a sweet little voice she has! Thanks for sharing...reminds me so much of Kayla at that age - and it passes too quickly!

A good fashion statement

I’ve heard people talk about a fa-shun stayt-munt .  Mommy told me how to spell it right so you would know what I mean…fashion statement.  Have you heard about this?  I’m not sure, but I think it’s when you put on pretty clothes and then tell someone something.  And I have something to tell you!! So here’s the pretty clothes… these were our Sunday pictures from yesterday.  Daddy took them while Mommy was getting ready for church. Me and KiKi were playing and we didn’t stand still to do good Sunday pictures.  But Daddy sneaked in some good ones. And now, here’s what I’ve got to tell you….. To celebrate my new pretty blog that we worked really hard on, me and Mommy are going to be giving some fun things away to somebody who likes to read our stories!  Do you like to get stuff for just reading my stories?
