Bear Bummer

It's Sunday. I saw lots of friends at church today and got to spend some time with some nice ladies I hadn't seen in a while. It was so fun to see so many people who want to say hi to me.

Then after church we came home and changed into our Bears wear. It was time for football!

Mommy's been teaching me how to cheer and get all excited at the right times. She says maybe someday I can be a cheerleader like she was a long time ago.

There was lots of times to cheer, but there were also some times to be sad. In the end, the Bears didn't win. Bummer.

Tonight we had some nice friends come over and help us a WHOLE BUNCH! Mommy told the story here. Here's me and Kaylee watching everyone else work.

  3. I love what you do each day. I enjoy keeping up with Braska, since we're too far away.
The Bears pic of the two of you is super. You still look like you should be in college! You're just as beautiful as ever...and that's a very objective observation.

Amy: We're originally from MN, are the Vikes worth rooting for this year?:-)

  5. The pic of you & Braska is so great - I need a copy for the "fridge of fame" - your mom is totally right. Muncher is a lucky man. Have a good night!

  7. Yeah I agree, it was a bummer the bears didn't win. Even though I've long since moved away from Chicago I still have a soft spot for them.

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
