Mommy life: Addie's surgery day

Today is little Addie's open-heart surgery in Iowa. If you've been through it with your kiddo, you'll never forget that day. Please pop over and encourage them. Her parents are very ready and seem to be as well-prepared as a parent can be for this process. But that moment when you hand your baby to the nurse or doctor at the door of the OR, it gets you. I know many of you can relate.

Please be praying for very alert docs and nurses, no complications, and good health for her mom and dad as they care for her at the hospital for the next few days.

    prayers from us as well. I keep checking for an update and pray some more. The family is definitely in our thoughts and prayers, especially little miss Adelynn and her surgeons.

Happy 6 months to me!
