Not all better yet

I’ve been feeling not very good the last few days.  KiKi and Mommy are sick, too.   Mommy says we’re tired, also.  She keeps saying she’s “sick and tired” of this junk.

So this week I get to stay home from school, and we’re just going to try to get better.  When I was a baby I didn’t get sick like this, and I don’t really like this part of being a big girl.  Mommy says none of us used to be sick til I started bringing bad germs home from school.  And I like to share, so I give them to everybody.

It’s not going to be much fun to have nobody to play with and no playtime with my friends, but I think I want to get better, so I’ll try to have fun with KiKi for a while.

Me and Mommy are working on lots of new stories and pictures for you to see, some on all of our blogs.  You know, since we’ll have some extra time at home this week.  So don’t miss ‘em!

  1. Aw, I hope you all feel better soon!

I read once that a good way to keep the germies from school from spreading all over the house is to completely change clothes when you come home from school. I don't know if it works or not, and I am sure it will make tons more laundry, but maybe it would help! Feel better!

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
