Outside chalk

Me and KiKi learned how to use chalk outside at Grandma C’s house, and we like it alot.  So Mommy went and got us some so we could play on our sidewalk at home.

We’ve played outside a few days since it’s been nice weather, and since we had Auntie Rachel’s camera at our house on Thursday, we took a few pictures to show you how we do it.

First, we take our chalks and draw some pictures on the sidewalk.

I like to draw lines.  And lots of them.  And then I count them, too.

Then I watch KiKi for a while, but she just walks around more than she does pictures.

So sometimes I “take a walk,” too.  That’s what we call it.  We walk down the sidewalk then we come back again.  We always tell Mommy, “Go take a walk,” before we go do it so she knows where we are going.

Sometimes we practice our letters outside, because we like to practice letters ALL the time.  It’s my favorite thing.

This time we decided to take some cheese pictures.  That’s when you squeeze your face with Mommy’s and say, “Cheeeeese!”
(Psssst…don’t tell Mommy I put these on here. She won’t be happy because she didn’t do her face that day.  Shhhhh.)

KiKi decided that she wanted to try other places to draw pictures.

I told her “Noooo!” when she tried to draw on me!

But she wasn’t listening to me… she heard something.  Can you tell?

It’s her favorite thing!  Know what it is??

She always says, “Look! In da sky!!  Airplane!”  She asks to look for airplanes in the sky ALL the time.  But we saw a whole bunch go over us when we were playing, so she was excited!

It was a pretty fun day playing.  We even played outside all the way til Daddy got home from work because we had so much fun.

Then we had to take a bath. Because we had colors everywhere!  Fun!

A good fashion statement

I’ve heard people talk about a fa-shun stayt-munt .  Mommy told me how to spell it right so you would know what I mean…fashion statement.  Have you heard about this?  I’m not sure, but I think it’s when you put on pretty clothes and then tell someone something.  And I have something to tell you!! So here’s the pretty clothes… these were our Sunday pictures from yesterday.  Daddy took them while Mommy was getting ready for church. Me and KiKi were playing and we didn’t stand still to do good Sunday pictures.  But Daddy sneaked in some good ones. And now, here’s what I’ve got to tell you….. Blue is cool!

I found a new fun show this week. There's lots of singing and dancing, and I like to do both those things! It's got a little dog in it named Blue. And he leaves clues for his friends to find. I like to scoot up close to the TV, so Mommy puts me on my little stool that I use for stand and sit practice. That way I stay in one place. Tonight's show was really fun and I got all excited! ( Mommy note: Remember, you can click on the pictures to make them bigger. The look on that little face is worth it! :o)
