Sad face, happy day!

Miss Robin came on Monday this week, and I was just not in the mood. I didn't feel very good, so I didn't do the exercises like I was supposed to. I did like the ball for a minute, but not long.

Today is my 9-month birthday!
I had to go to the hospital place where the lady poked me with something really sharp, and it HURT!!! Mommy held me but she couldn't make it stop. The good part is that they only had to poke me once, but then they moved it all around in there! They shouldn't be allowed to do that!!

Here's some pictures that we took 3 months ago and Mommy never had time to put together for everyone to see. I was littler then, but I thought you might still want to check them out.

(Note from Mommy: They are done in all black and white, then again in color, so if you like color, skip to the middle. :o)

  1. I think black and whites are the best! I'll have to come back to watch the whole thing because my connection is down and I am picking up my neighbors with very low signal so it's like dial up right now! Ewww! But I did get to see the first few shots!

Oh BTW, Preston turned 8 months old today, so there is 1 month and 1 day between them.

  2. Now there is one little girl who is "ON THE BALL!"

So sorry about the poke! But I'm sure they meant the best....

    Love to all,
    Papa Beagle

  4. Don't worry about the ball, 'Braska. Your pops got the same look on his face when Lillian used to start ball work in ab class:)
Does the pace of the rag time Joplin reflect the pace of life these last 9 months?

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
