I got legs!!

I got a really cool present in the mail this week! Babylegs!!! I've been seeing these on some of my friends, especially the super-cool Georgia, and Mommy kept saying she was gonna get some. But she doesn't always get around to things very fast, so someone awful special in a place we call VT sent me some stylin' legs! Mommy's super happy since they keep my legs toasty while I can wear the shirts that make it easy to feed me in my belly. Thanks, you sneaky friends!!

Miss Robin came today, and she made me work pretty hard. But I did it, and I didn't even complain today. Mommy was so proud, even though she watched pretty close to be sure I wasn't hurting my belly.

Miss Robin made me practice holding myself up while I sit. See she helps me, then look! No Miss Robin hands!

I didn't stay up very long, but I'm getting better!

  2. Hey, those legs look flashy! :)

And GREAT job using those arms....Georgia still refuses to bear weight on her arms. The little rascal.

  3. Your leggins remind me of Pippi Longstocking. When you get a little older we will read all about that Little Miss.

  6. So are these Legs a re-invention of the leg warmer I was so fond of in my youth? Full-leg legwarmers?

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
