Braska has a couple funny little things she tosses out in conversations occasionally, and I’ve had trouble catching them in spontaneous situations. So I thought I’d at least get it on video so that I don’t forget it down the road. And while I’m doing that, I might as well share, right?
If you’re around Braska in her regular settings, you’ll know this isn’t her best example of clarity (at the end of a long day with no nap!), but it’s still cute. (Don’t miss the last bit. Priceless. Will be referred to when the teenage attitude shows up one day.)
***You may have noticed one phrase in the video… sparkling with asterisks. This is something that showed up out of nowhere. Anytime she is asked “why” something, she answers with that response. And we’ve talked several times about what it means and how we don’t say that… but honestly we’re not 100% convinced she’s saying *that*. And she seems to think it’s funny when we address it, so we’re opting to leave it alone for the most part. If she IS saying that, she’s not using it “appropriately” or with malice, so for now, we’re hoping it just fades away quietly.
I love hearing her sweet little voice. And she doesn't sound hateful, but one wonders how she came up with it.
