Bye bye and thanks

**Be sure to look below for more stories. I got behind, but I'm caught up now!**

This morning, Auntie Julia, Grammy Jan, and Papa Beagle left to go pick up Auntie Joy and Uncle Ryan. They did alot of work this week! I mostly just watched them, but it was nice to have them with us all week. Thanks for all the help!

Check out my shades! That's what Mommy calls them, but I'm not sure what they're really for. She says I look cute, though, so it's ok with me.

I fell asleep today after some turkey and peaches before Mommy could clean up my face. I was just too comfy!

  1. Hey Braska! You look GREAT in those sunglasses! What fun it was to be with you and watch you play, eat, and grow! And then we found our pictures with you on your blog! How neat is that!

    Keep eating and growing!

    Love ya,
Papa Beagle, Grammy Jan, and Auntie Julia

  3. For some reason this talk of eating peaches reminds me of the John Prine song, Spanish Pipedream, where the chorus goes like this:
We blew up our TV threw away our paper
Went to the country, built us a home
Had a lot of children, fed 'em on peaches
They all found Jesus on their own

And I can't believe your listening to John Prine so I will just let you enjoy peaches without moving to the country.

  4. Papa Beagle--Mommy says you're working again this week somewhere else, so be sure to take some breaks!

Miss Mindy--We're going to go to Curtis Orchard and get some peaches, so we'll eat one for you too! Wish you could go with us!

Grandma C--I don't know about this, I just like peaches!

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
