Some chilly days!

It's been cold lately, so Mommy and I have been staying home the last few days. She had to go out on Saturday, but she left me home with Pop. Pop always wants to nap. He likes naps a whole bunch. He takes naps almost every day, just like me! So on Saturday, we cuddled up on the couch and fell asleep, and when Mommy got home, she found us snoozing.

I've been practicing sitting up, and my favorite toy to play with while I'm up is my piano. Mommy's Aunt Chris brought it for me from my cousins, and I like it alot. It makes nice sounds and lights up too. Here's a little bit of my practicing.
I've been sitting in the kitchen while Mommy works on cooking or cleaning up. I have a nice spot to sit in my chair and watch her do stuff.
Sometimes Mommy takes too many pictures and I just try to tell her That's Enough!
Today we made a quick trip to the store, and I helped Mommy hold on to some stuff. I reached out to hold it, so she put it in my seat with me. But in a minute I was tired, so I pushed it out of my seat and it fell on the floor. Oops.

  2. You should have a box of Twinkies instead of granola bars. Twinkies are much tastier.

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
