Mommy report: Granulation, day 5

Straight up, this is just gross. That's what I'm thinking as I'm trying to figure out what is up with her g-button stoma. (Warning: Icky picture on link.) There's a picture of her button here if you are curious enough, or brave enough, to see it. I didn't put it on this page in case you prefer not to see it.

It's gotten much worse, much larger, so darn quickly, and I'm at a loss. I'm taking her in again tomorrow, hopefully to someone here in town (her pediatrician or a trusted doctor client of mine), but I wouldn't be surprised at all if we're back on the road again tomorrow to St.L either to the GI doctor or to the ER at Children's. I hope that's not needed, but I'm not unpacking my suitcase yet.

I will refrain from being more descriptive of what it's going or how we're dealing with it, because it's pretty icky and disturbing. I hope we get some good answers or help tomorrow. I'ts looking like I'm gonna have a long night.

    Oh my! I can see why you are worried. That looks like no fun for you or Braska. I hope that you do get some answers - and that you managed some sleep.

Blue is cool!

I found a new fun show this week. There's lots of singing and dancing, and I like to do both those things! It's got a little dog in it named Blue. And he leaves clues for his friends to find. I like to scoot up close to the TV, so Mommy puts me on my little stool that I use for stand and sit practice. That way I stay in one place. Tonight's show was really fun and I got all excited!
