Mommy report:Relaxing w/Einstein

We're up in the room now. She had a bit of a rough go right after she woke up, crying quite a bit in some pain, but after some morphine, she was able to rest better. We moved up to a room around 10:30 am, and we've got our own for now! And we've got the big, improved room that they just expanded, and we've got the big end of it. Side B if you remember from last time except it's bigger even than that now!

Here's our icky I-just-had-a-hole-poked-in-my-belly look.

Here's the floor physician checking on us in our new room. That's the G-tube...right there on the belly.

And here's a much more pleasant baby, after we found Baby Mozart in the playroom. That's the way to keep her still for a while...

Grammy Jan, Papa Beagle, Aunties Julia and Joy, and Uncle Ryan just arrived to check on us. She'll get her first Pedialyte in a few minutes, so hopefully that will go well and stay down.

  3. First thing when I woke up this morning (before I even opened my eyes) I thought of you, little Braska, and said a prayer for you and your family. I am so glad you are doing ok after surgery. That was QUICK! Now get better little girl, so you can go home, gain weight, and continue becoming the beautiful little girl we all know and love!

Happy 6 months to me!

I'm 6 months old today. Wow...it seems like a lifetime!! Mommy helped me put together a neat thing to share with you, but you should know that it's really for my dad. He's the best Pop a girl could have. Just remember, girls, he's mine and Mommy's, and we're keeping him! Hey Pop, thanks for hanging in there with us for six whole months! Go Team Woods! Make a video - it's fun, easy and free! www.onetruemedia.com

Getting ready for Idol!

Here at our house we always watch American Idol from the beginning to the end. I like all the music, and Mommy and Daddy like to make guesses on who will win. I love to sing and listen to songs and Mommy has been singing songs to me since I was a tiny baby, so we do songs every day. We're getting ready for Idol to start soon, so we've been singing extra! Last night, I thought I would do my first movie of singing time. I was in a pretty silly mood and didn't want to be still, but Mommy thought I should let you see anyway. This is the song I know the best, Jesus Loves Me, but it's not my best showing of it, that's for sure. And this is my favorite song from my FAVORITE show... Blue's Clues!!! Usually I can say Blue's Clues really nice and show the hands like Steve does, but I didn't feel like it when Mommy got the camera out. But the Mail song is always fun! (Mommy even got a word wrong but I knew my part!)
