Workin' out

Miss Robin came to see me this morning. She makes me work pretty hard now. I practiced rolling over, and she seems to have figured out my game. I heard her tell Mommy that I know how to do it, but I just like to be on my back so I can see my hands. How did she know that?!? So she made me show her that I could do it, and it made everyone happy to see me flip over. But I don't really like being on my tummy, so I just leaned over to the side and *flip* I'm back on my back. I hope Mommy doesn't think I'm just gonna do this whenever she wants, like to show off and stuff. I'll do it when I want to, though.

Miss Robin also brought a neat thing that makes sounds when you push on it, or when you lay your head on it too. It was fun but it's alot of work to move my arms when I'm on my belly.

Miss Robin decided to help me get stronger in my arms by doing some exercises that Mommy said were kind of like baby push-ups. I didn't care for these much, but Miss Robin said I did pretty well at them.

  3. Way to go, Braska! Papa Beagle here. I'm in Panera in Rolla doing some email; I took the afternoon off from church camp and have Internet access here.

    Keep on getting stronger!

  4. Oh G has to start those baby push-ups too! She HATES using her arms. She's like her mama, all the strength is in her legs. Sigh...

  5. You can roll over? Well, knock me over with a feather. You are a little trickster. I was hoping to come up there on Saturday to see you, but I don't think I can now. All sorts of things have gotten crazy here, but hopefully the week after.

Happy 6 months to me!

I'm 6 months old today. Wow...it seems like a lifetime!! Mommy helped me put together a neat thing to share with you, but you should know that it's really for my dad. He's the best Pop a girl could have. Just remember, girls, he's mine and Mommy's, and we're keeping him! Hey Pop, thanks for hanging in there with us for six whole months! Go Team Woods! Make a video - it's fun, easy and free! www.onetruemedia.com

Getting ready for Idol!

Here at our house we always watch American Idol from the beginning to the end. I like all the music, and Mommy and Daddy like to make guesses on who will win. I love to sing and listen to songs and Mommy has been singing songs to me since I was a tiny baby, so we do songs every day. We're getting ready for Idol to start soon, so we've been singing extra! Last night, I thought I would do my first movie of singing time. I was in a pretty silly mood and didn't want to be still, but Mommy thought I should let you see anyway. This is the song I know the best, Jesus Loves Me, but it's not my best showing of it, that's for sure. And this is my favorite song from my FAVORITE show... Blue's Clues!!! Usually I can say Blue's Clues really nice and show the hands like Steve does, but I didn't feel like it when Mommy got the camera out. But the Mail song is always fun! (Mommy even got a word wrong but I knew my part!)
