Sleepy Sunday

We were pretty tired this morning, so we slept in a little bit. Our church does the same thing two times on Sunday morning, and we usually go to the first time, but this morning we went to the second time. I wore another new outfit... lots of these are from Miss Michelle at Grandma C's church. Thanks Miss Michelle!!!

After church, Pop played with me and I showed him that I know how to make the lights and music go on my light up gym.

Tonight, we went out to El Toro for the last time with our Toro buddies Mr. Tim, Miss Mindy, and Mia. They're leaving on Tuesday morning, and we won't see them for at least a year since they're going to live in a place called Belgium. I'm gonna miss Mia. She teaches me stuff and always likes to play with me. Miss Karen and Mr. Randy came with us, with Maddy and Gracie, too. Maybe they'll be our new Toro buddies...
These are my friends Mia, Gracie, and Maddy.

  3. You are very welcome for the clothes. I have tried to give them away several other times but everyone at our church has boys and their daddys won't let them wear pink. Go figure! I'm glad I finally have a sweet baby girl to share them with.

PS I just told your G'ma C that I have a few more items for you.

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
