My mommy just called to check up on me this morning before she goes to church. Grandma C and Miss Karen came by before they went, too. I heard my nurse tell Mommy that they took out my pacemaker wires, which I'm glad about because they were very uncomfortable, and they are getting ready to take out my last two lines that require me to be in the PICU. So the doctor has written the papers for me to go to the TCU (transition care unit). Right now the TCU is full, so I'll have to wait til at least this afternoon later to see if I get to move to a new room. But how cool is that? I only have a few little things stuck to me still!
I know it's been forever, and yes, Facebook is much to blame. For as long as I held out and didn't join, now I see it's simplicity (and it's ability to suck up all my online time!!). BUT--After much pondering, I've decided I'm not giving up on blogging! Sometimes a narrative or story will be better served in a blog format, so I'm combining blogs into one.
