Freedom

The doctors decided to let me go home today. Yippee! It took alot of help from my nurse Miss Jenny to get all the stuff together that I need when I get home. She really worked hard for us! Thanks Miss Jenny!

As we were leaving, we took a few pictures, because this was a pretty cool place.

Every floor had neat circles with words on it. I thought they were neat. This was my floor.

This was the neato place where people can eat. I didn't get to go there since they had a sign on my door called Isolation. That meant I didn't get to run around the hospital like some kids did.

This is the front door. There's little plastic people down there on the sidewalk that are cute, I think.

And these neato colored things are in the building where we parked our car. They are supposed to keep us from driving out a window, I think.

Mommy and Pop are real proud of me they said, because I took my bottle today for my whole meal two times this afternoon. I'm just tired of this tube in my nose, so I'd like to get it out again.
So now I'm at Grandpa John's house with Mommy and Pop. We'll go home soon I think.

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
