Movin' on up

I woke up this morning earlier than Mommy wanted me to, I think. She came in my room and talked to me all nice and quiet while she was being sneaky and giving me the belly pat. That always makes me relax and sleepy, so I went right back to sleep. But I thought I wanted to get up! Wow...She's good! She was much happier about an hour later when I got up again.


It is always nice to be home after we've been away, and I just enjoyed my chair this morning while Mommy worked on stuff. I was having good fun with Mr. Panda Rattle. He tells funny stories.


After lunch, we went to see Miss Laurie and Miss Amiee at Dr. Y's office. You guessed it...time for that silly scale again. It all happened so fast that we didn't even take a picture, but the good news is that I gained a little more weight! The numbers today were 11 lbs 0.5 oz, and Mommy was very pleased.

Tonight I hung out with my Pop for a while so Mommy could take a nap. She was much better after she got up later. We all watched some TV and had some good family time. Pop read to me a little and it's time for bed.

    Once again...you are so beautiful. I have a friend--whom I have never met--who is flying here from Arizona next week and she wants to see you. You are the highlight for people I don't even know. Good stuff.

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
