Happy 6 months to me!

I'm 6 months old today. Wow...it seems like a lifetime!!

Mommy helped me put together a neat thing to share with you, but you should know that it's really for my dad. He's the best Pop a girl could have. Just remember, girls, he's mine and Mommy's, and we're keeping him!

Hey Pop, thanks for hanging in there with us for six whole months!
Go Team Woods!

  12. Sorry I'm late to comment -- we've been to my old hometown over the weekend to speak for ARM. You know it as where Macie lives, I think. Anyhow, I've not been online for a couple days, but I wanted to say how great the special video is!

  15. Hey wee one. Happy birthday. Unfortunately, I can't get my video to work, but I know it must be wonderful--maybe it's because I'm back in KS. Thank you for touching my life in a most precious way. I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with you and your mom and pop before I moved back to the Land of Oz. And don't forget those hands. They are good for so many things--reaching out to help others, holding special people close and lots of other fun things like throwing balls, picking up critters, making snowballs, drawing pictures, playing the piano (hint, hint), holding dolls and the list goes on and on...... I love you-

Mommy report: Chatty girl

Braska's been just loving her words lately. She's still signing some, mostly when we're in public or around strangers, but she's adding more words all the time. Many of her words are just attempts at the actual word, but that's where we all start, right?!? We're not saying that she'll be giving speeches next month, but we are very proud that she's become such a mimic and that she is loving using so many sounds. We practice often, just running through her words, signs, and tricks. She especially loves to chime in with videos of herself, so I've been working on compiling all her favorites for her to work with. As I was editing this, she was sitting here saying the words over and over. So funny to hear her talking to herself on the screen and loving it. So here's a peek at some clips from our practice session tonight. Some words are more obvious than others. They are all great attempts, though, and we'll celebrate that! Make an on-line

Nebraska meets Indiana

Braska's reaction to meeting the very kind Rory Feek and his beautiful daughter Indy.  I missed the part where Braska said Indy was sooooooooooo cute!  :) Our dream would be a photo showing the two most beautiful "states" together, right?!?  :)
